Why This Matters:

This training offers an invitation - we want to help train people to be agents of change in our world. You can become that by growing your capacity, by creating steady courses, by living as a learning environment.

A human heart, in a human body, steeped in consciousness of the responsibility of being present in our belonging and showing up to something bigger.

We are calling a community together to ask these questions and collectively answer some questions through our embodied practices.

Yes, you will learn how to teach Open Floor; but you can also learn how to domino your embodied presence through showing up, again and again. The curriculum opens a pathway to doing just that. Will you have this dance? We extend the invitation….

Learning to teach the Open Floor Curriculum

Open Floor Movement Practice (OFMP) is a living curriculum based in collective wisdom and experience, as well as emergent research and knowledge.

In this teacher training, you will learn to embody and teach the 10 core movement resources using the Open Floor Movement Cycle.

You will also build essential skills around musicality, language, somatics, power dynamics and cultural sensitivity in order to work dynamically with different populations.

Over 2 years of training, you will also be required to practice and grow clarity around:

  • The four dimensions of Embodiment

  • The four Relational Hungers

  • The four Continuums

  • The four Differentiations
