Yes. You will be able to register for individual Immersions. We expect registration for the “immersions only” option to open winter 2027.

The Immersions are a deep dive into the Open Floor Curriculum and do not train you in how to facilitate the work. They correlate with the first 5 days of each teacher training Phase and those in the full training will also attend the Immersions.

Pre-requisites to enter Immersions 1–4 (non-teacher training students):

• 50 hours of instructed study in conscious dance practice*

• At least 15 of those hours must be Open Floor Movement Practice

120 hours of instructed study in Conscious Dance*

• At least 60 of those hours must be Open Floor Movement Practice

• Your Open Floor hours must include one Ground Floor Lab

If you have not completed these hours, please include your plan for completion in your application form. 

• One Libido Fundamentals workshop (15 hours) or equivalent study in embodied sexuality

• 20 hours Mindfulness study & practice 

• 15 hours Experiential Anatomy & Neurophysiology

Please Note: These do not need to be completed in order to apply for the training, but they are required in order to graduate as a certified Open Floor Teacher. Because the 2 years of teacher training can be an intensive time to study, it is helpful to get these done before training if possible.

We will have several zoom sessions which will help you live more deeply into this question. We are very interested in it being a good fit for you and to help you move towards your personal goals, curiosities and growth.

Details on the cost of the overall training will be published by end of year 2026. We expect the training to cost between $9,500-$11,500 sliding scale with some other scholarship opportunities available through crew work or other possibilities. Food & Lodging are separate. There will be installment payment plans available or discounts for full payment at your time of registration. More details to come.
